Lynn Memorial Day Parade '05 with the Salem Light Infantry

Monday May 30, 2005

Obie in the Lynn paradeThis parade in Lynn, MA started on a bright sunny afternoon and finished right before a heavy downpour. It was the first chance I've had to see John O'Brien in action with his Salem Light Infantry Zouave unit.

Obie's Civil War reenactment group drills weekly year-round and travels throughout the northeast for parades, demonstrations, and community events. They're constantly refining their techniques and acquiring more weaponry. :o
